PUBLIC SAFETY AND HOMELAND SECURITY BUREAU ANNOUNCES
REGION 39 (TENNESSEE) REGIONAL PLANNING COMMITTEES
TO HOLD 700 MHZ AND 800 MHZ NPSPAC MEETINGS
PR Docket 93-58 and WT Docket 02-378
The Region 39 (Tennessee) 700 MHz and 800 MHz Regional Planning Committees (RPCs) will hold two planning meetings on Thursday, November 10, 2016. Beginning at 10:00 a.m., the RPCs will convene at the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency Headquarters, 3041 Sidco Drive, Nashville, Tennessee 37204.
The agenda for the 700 MHz RPC meeting includes:
- 10:00 a.m. Welcome and Introductions (Jesse Griggs)
- 10:30 a.m. Update on 700 MHz plan
- 11:00 a.m. Open discussion
- 12:00 p.m. Adjourn for Lunch
The agenda for the 800 MHz RPC meeting includes:
- 1:00 p.m. Introduction and Greetings (Jesse Griggs)
- 1:30 p.m. Election of Officers
- 2:00 p.m. Open Discussion
- 3:00 p.m. Adjourn
Both Region 39 RPC meetings are open to the public. All eligible public safety providers in Region 39 may utilize these frequencies. It is essential that eligible public safety agencies in all areas of government, including state, municipality, county, and Native American Tribal be represented in order to ensure that each agency’s future spectrum needs are considered in the allocation process. Administrators who are not oriented in the communications field should delegate someone with this knowledge to attend, participate, and represent their agency’s needs. All interested parties wishing to participate in the planning for the use of public safety spectrum in the 700 MHz and 800 MHz bands within Region 39 should plan to attend.
