Re: Notice of Oral Ex Parte Presentation
PS Docket No. 13-87

Dear Ms. Dortch:

In accordance with Section 1.1206 of the Federal Communications Commission’s
rules, this letter reports that on May 25, 2016, representatives from Motorola
Solutions, Inc. (“MSI”) met with staff from the Public Safety and Homeland
Security Bureau (“PSHSB”) to discuss the substance and status of the Petition for
Clarification filed by MSI in the above-captioned proceeding.1

Participating in the meeting were Cathy Seidel and Chuck Powers of MSI, as well
as Nancy Victory and myself from Wiley Rein LLP. We met with David Furth,
Zenji Nakazawa, Michael Wilhelm, John Evanoff, and Renee Roland from PSHSB.

During the meeting, the representatives from MSI urged the Commission to affirm
that its rules require that only subscriber devices that are capable of operating on the
designated nationwide narrowband interoperability channels in conformance with
the technical standards identified in Section 90.548 of the Commission’s rules are
permitted to operate in the 700 MHz public safety narrowband spectrum. MSI
urged the Commission to expedite action on its request.

Please let me know if there are any questions about this submission.

Sincerely,

/s/ Michael A. Lewis
