ACD has performed both indoor and outdoor coverage testing for talk-out and talk-back for many of its clients such as, but not limited to; Travis Air force Base in CA, US DOI in NV, Chester County, PA; Howard County, MD; Town of Ludlow, MA; Branch County, MI; Allegan County, MI; Maui County PD, HI; State of Oklahoma Department of Public Safety. We use equipment manufactured by American companies called Survey Technologies Inc. (STI) and Sonim Technologies. Among ACD’s capabilities is the ability to produce coverage models and explain coverage maps which identify areas of strength and weakness in layman and technical terms.
ACD can characterize coverage based on measuring talk-out (base to mobile) signal strength for a geographic service area. We can also perform P-25 BER Test, Audio Quality Test and Indoor Signal Strength Measurements. These procedures are in conformance with TSB88. ACD can also characterize coverage for LTE Networks based on signal strength and quality measurements.
