The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has released a Public Notice (PN) delineating changes to its public safety 4.9 GHz licensing process. Incumbent licensees in the 4.9 GHz band holding a license under the radio service code PA must file for a new license with granular data under radio service codes PB or PF before June 9, 2025.
