They provide secure and reliable high-speed connectivity in these challenging, isolated locations, and over rough non-line-of-sight terrain. Features include wireless IP traffic scheduling and QoS. They are available in a wide range of frequency bands and channel sizes.
Private LTE networks are non-public networks that are using the 3GPP standard, the mobile telecommunications standards organization. This network is leveraging the LTE 4G cellular networking technology that offers secure, reliable, and fast connectivity. It is the same technology that you use today when you use your smart phone to call friends and family, check your email, play games, or watch videos.
Private LTE networks are networks that use licensed, shared, wireless spectrum and LTE cellular networking base stations, small cells, and other Radio Access Network (RAN) infrastructure to transmit voice and data to edge devices, including smart phones, embedded modules, routers, and gateways. Technically, private LTE and 5G networks work the same as public LTE networks edge devices that use wireless spectrum to transmit data to nearby cellular base stations, access points and other network infrastructure. The infrastructure then carries this data to the enterprise’s internal network over a secured wired connection.
The Private LTE networks ACD Telecom and Redline Communications offers will use the CBRS (Citizens Broadband Radio Service) band to license the Private LTE network and get the system up and running. Supplemental networks allow end-users in industrial, government and enterprise markets to operate their own private wireless network independently and separate from public commercial wireless networks. It allows for sharing facilities with other organizations without the concern of network security, as well as control over operations without RF interference from nearby radios, and without being subjected to prioritization if traffic is carried over a commercial cellular network.
