Public Safety Communication Work Performed

 

Tren Urbano, Puerto RicoACD will provide Consulting Services and Project Management to TrenUrbano in support of their Rebanding efforts.  So far, we have developed their RFPF (Request For Planning Funding), negotiated with TA and SN in order to execute the PFA.   Upon execution of the PFA, ACD will begin inventory of TrenUrbano’s subscriber units, work with their manufacturer (Motorola) on infrastructure inventory, suitability and Interoperability planning.  As TrenUrbano’s’ consultant and PM, we will also negotiate with Motorola, SN and TA to develop and execute a FRA.

UCANAs a sub contractor, ACD performed statewide frequency analysis, tower site analysis and licensing.

State of VermontACD has been hired as their consultant to develop statewideinteroperability plan, find suitable VHF / UHF channels for statewide use as part for their “Lifeline” system, perform frequency coordination, work with FCC and IC (Industry Canada) to obtain necessary licenses.

 

This system will be utilized by all State agencies and will be available for interoperability purpose for all local and federal agencies as well.

 

As part of our efforts, we have begun performing coverage and interference contours for all proposed sites, intermodulation (if necessary).  We will also compete and file major / minor Waivers of FCC rules and regulations.

Will County, ILACD has been providing consulting services to Will County since 1999.  For the past eight (8) years, ACD has assisted the County in an advisory capacity on new wireless technology, developed RFP for coverage testing of their new transmitter locations, located and analyze tower locations and their coverage, performed regulatory work, conducted frequency coordination.

Furthermore, ACD is now Will County’s Consulting and Project Management for their Rebanding project both phase one and two, which is required under FCC Docket 02-55.  Specifically, ACD on behalf of the County developed a comprehensive Plan for their entire engineering, spectrum management, inventory, suitability assessment and negotiation with Transition Administrator (TA) and Sprint Nextel (SN).  Will County has retained ACD’s project management and consulting services for the second phase, which will be for complete replacement / returning the system, coverage testing, functional testing of the equipment and negotiation with both the vendor and SN.
